Dashew Assessment Center
JVS' Dashew Assessment Center offers comprehensive vocational evaluations to a wide range of JVS clients, including individuals with disabilities, veterans, refugees and immigrants and career professionals in transition.
JVS’ Dashew Assessment Center specializes in the area of assistive technology and is the only facility in Southern California offering full vocational evaluations to individuals who are blind and visually impaired.
The Center also provides job search skills training, career exploration and job placement assistance.
JVS recently added a brand new Assessment Center at the San Fernando Valley office. This expansion was funded by an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant from the Department of Rehabilitation.
